When Alexander the Great visited Diogenes and asked whether he could do anything for the famed teacher, Diogenes replied, “Only stand out of my light.” Perhaps some day we shall know how to heighten creativity. Until then, one of the best things we can do for creative men and women is to stand out of their light.

I think maybe it is not what we can do for the creative, but for ourselves but standing out of their light. This way we have to come up with our ideas. And our own ideas are always stronger than another’s through us. But I do like this quote because it makes you think.

I’m not sure how others took the meaning of this but in some way I disagree with diogenes.
I say to people. Come and share my light…feed off my light and without either of us realising out light will spread together.
Hmph…maybe it’s just the way I perceived the saying.
Peace and blessings.
