I’m not sure that I understand this one, will someone elaborate for me? (at least it’s got me thinking though!) :p

Sleep is in a way, a state of escape from the stresses of life, a natural meditation we all take for granted.
I am not sure of the exact context of this quote, but Hemingway did have a life that fell apart, which eventually led to his suicide.

Ahh, that’s probably why I didn’t get this one, I don’t know that much about hemmingway.
Just out of curiosity KD, why did you choose this quote? What was it about the quote that jumped out for you?
