Here is todays posting to Illustration Friday and the theme is: Spring. I had the sun, a lotus, and a plant sprouting in mind when I created this, took about ten minutes.

I like it a lot. I like that it only took you ten minutes but I could examine it with interest for much longer.

Sally: I am glad you liked it and found it intriguing. I liked the coloring of your spring shoes, made me wonder what I would have created, if I had seen it as a mechanical spring.
Amit: It’s feedback and interest from readers like you that keeps me going on this blog—sharing information and my thoughts; otherwise I am usually a very lazy person, so thank you for visiting, and interacting.

Hey don’t worry, I’m lazy too! It was partly the point of my blog too, to get me into the habit of writing so that I can finish my book and now I’ve caught the bug, I cannot stop writing! I was having a similar conversation with a friend earlier today. I was saying that I feel so fortunate to know so many inspiring people, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be where I am today. You have a powerful imagination and i’ve noticed that it’s those people who are the laziest because they have so much in their minds that they’re not sure what to do with it all!
But you’re here, still doing this and you’ve been going strong for a long while, I’d say the lazyness is nearly a thing of the past! 😉

nice drawing. the roots usually get disregarded when people draw the lotus, but it’s part of what makes them such interesting plants.
